Booking Bronco Shuttle Services for Campus Events
The Bronco Shuttle program supports Boise State’s campus community with special transportation requests for approved university events. If you’re planning a large event and need shuttle services, please review the following guidelines:
- Check with a local vendor first. For large groups (100+ people), start by contacting a local transportation provider, such as Caldwell Transportation.
- Submit a request if needed. If a vendor cannot meet your needs, you may request Bronco Shuttle services. Submitting a request does not guarantee availability.
- Service details. Approved requests will be fulfilled based on shuttle availability, rider capacity, and professional driver staffing during regular business hours.
- Cost. The rate is $75 per shuttle per hour. (Note: This rate will increase to $85 per hour starting July 1, 2025)
- Approval and confirmation. Only event coordinators for approved Boise State functions may request this service. Once submitted, a team member will follow up to confirm availability and finalize details.
We appreciate your interest in Bronco Shuttle services and look forward to supporting your event transportation needs!
Bronco Shuttle GTFS Data Files
Boise State University provides General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS) data for the Bronco Shuttle system, making route and schedule information accessible to riders through trip-planning applications like Google Maps and other transit tools.
What is GTFS?
GTFS is a standardized data format that allows transit services to share real-time and scheduled information, enabling users to plan their trips efficiently. This data helps integrate the Bronco Shuttle system into various transportation apps, improving accessibility and convenience for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
Boise State’s GTFS Requirements
Boise State University publishes GTFS data to:
- Ensure riders have up-to-date transit information.
- Enhance trip planning through platforms like Google Maps.
- Improve accessibility and transparency in campus transportation.
While the university is not legally required to provide GTFS data, doing so aligns with best practices in public transit and supports the broader campus community.
